Volunteering during Tribal Gathering setup is labor intensive and rewarding. We work daily from sunrise to sunset to ensure the location is fully prepared to host the Tribal Gathering festival. Volunteering during the event setup means you will be working side by side with local traditional builders and indigenous craftsmen from Latin America.
Only candidates with real-world experience as builders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other tradesmen and women will be considered in the volunteer selection process. We require skilled people who are motivated and dynamic, who work well with people, and can adapt easily to new environments and changing circumstances.
Volunteers who are accepted to participate in the pre-festival setup may arrive one or two weeks before the festival gates open, based on our need and your skill sets. If your application is accepted you will be notified whether you can arrive 1 week or 2 weeks before the festival. There are a limited number of volunteer positions available, we recommend you submit your application early for the best chance at your application being approved.
GeoParadise is a public charity, with 100% of the proceeds from Tribal Gathering being used to fund charitable projects with indigenous communities throughout Central and South America.
As a one of a kind festival, unique from every other event in the world, Tribal Gathering operates differently from other festivals you may have volunteered with in the past. We place the greatest emphasis on our charitable goals. To ensure our charitable programs are robust and effective, we work to ensure as much funding as possible is diverted into these programs. You must purchase a Tribal Gathering event ticket before submitting your volunteer application. Volunteers who are accepted to attend the pre-festival setup are required to donate $35 per week in order to cover your associated food expenses and operational costs. If you application is approved, your will be required to submit the donation online before we finalize your participation in the pre-festival setup.
